In (Premier) John Crichton is experimenting with his wormhole theory in his module Farscape One. He creates one and is shot through it into a distant universe. He lands right in the middle of the escape of a Leviathan, Moya, from the Peacekeepers. So begins his many ventures with Moya and her crew.
At first he his chased by Captain Bialar Crais who is out for the revenge of the death of his brother, that is until Crais' command is taken over by Scorpius who finds a great interest in Johns knowledge of wormholes after discovering the human's knowledge in his Aurora chair.
The new pursuit begins of Johns new nemesis, Scorpius becoming more threatening than John ever realized at first ... until he discovers Scorpius has planted a chip in his mind, a clone of Scorpius (Harvey) trying to gather all that John knows for Scorpius' later retrieval, and protection.
John is to find out he can't kill Scorpius as part of it. He does find minor advantages to his Scorpy chip, Harvey, still, they'll never outweigh Johns desire to get rid of the invading chip and unwelcomed clone.
Powers rise and fall, Scorpius comes to be displaced with a new enemy, Commandant Mee'lon Grayza, and it doesn't even begin on John's love for Aeryn. In a rather dark irony, John is cloned (Eat Me) and one John is embraced by Aeryns love, he dies, and the John we continue to know must endure the Aeryn who mourns him.
Continuing with wormholes, John is very obsessed by them. He holds the knowledge of wormholes as given to him by the Ancients which is unlocked when the knowledge is threatened but the more John learns, the bigger the responsibility and dangers he finds in it. (Unrealized Reality) and the implications of messing up time can prove devastating. Is it possible things we've already seen such as a time freezing fog (The Locket) is only but one result of John Crichton's wormhole travels yet to come?
