Luxan warrior Ka D'Argo was imprisoned for allegedly murdering his Sebacean wife, Lo'Laan. It is later reviled by Crais under D'Argoes enforcement that it was his wife's brother, Macton, who killed her because they were in love and bore a half Sebacean son.

D'Argo never rests in his diligence to find his son and then occurrences (Stark) gives him the opportunity to find him among slaves. In the ironic twists of Farscape, D'Argo at last sees his son Jothee for the first time in many cycles at the cost of ten thousand Baniks and Crichton's surrender to Scorpius. Then, to loose his son again after discovering he and Chiana have been having an affair because she didn't want to be his life mate. D'Argo would seem to be at a crossroads of where his life will lead him now.

D'Argo is a Luxan who holds the tattoos of a general on his sensitive chin even though he isn't. He gained the tattoo posing as his general to fool the enemy (Peacekeepers) into believing he was so his wounded general could escape them. He has a pronged tongue he is able to lash out like a lizard to render someone unconscious and the tendons that fall loosely from his head are Tankas. He's the tallest of the crew, brandishing the weapon of his family line, a blade that can be shifted into a pulse firing weapon called a Qualta Blade. He also has acquired a formidable Luxan ship he is continuing to master and has dubbed Lo'La, after his wife.

He had rings embedded into his chest that were placed there to chain him when he was a prisoner, up to episodes "Into the Lion's Den 1 - 2" where a deal made between Crichton and Scorpius gave him the vantage to have the rings removed and obtain the location of Macton. He later finds Macton "Mental as Anything" and at last resolves the murder of his wife.

He makes no apology about his actions. He is forceful, simple and often has a demanding, commanding nature. He lives by his own codes and standards and never backs down from them. D'argo is a warrior of honor and pride in a very ancient way. Watch out for that temper!
